Every day I wake up I am greeted with the one thing that
many people take for granted, I wake up and realize that I have learned how to
use my brain and body to function in everyday life. Since the day we are born
we are given a wonderful thing called a brain, our brain is the most complex
thing that we as a species have discovered and had the privilege to use. Without my brain I would not be able to do
anything, literally, I would be a husk of meat that does nothing but flops to
the ground. Without the ability to use my brain I would have died at birth, we
learn how to breathe by using our brain, without the ability to breath we would
suffocate and die. Our brain also lets us store vast amounts of knowledge in
it, knowledge that we use every day. How to walk, how to talk, how to read and
write, without our rain we would all be nothing. No people may say “You don’t
learn how to use your brain you are born with it.” I would beg to differ we
learn how to use our brain by a means of tacking in new knowledge, storing it
in our brain, then using it in our ever day life. Through this process we learn
how to use our brain through our memory. And like I said without our brain we
would be nothing but husks, slabs of meat that do nothing and die within the
first few seconds of be brought into this world. Our brain is vastly important
to us and our survival. I am happy that I have my brain and have had the
amazing journey of learning to use it, even if it is only 10% of it.
